Our Mission
| The mission of St Thomas of Canterbury Parish is to provide a spiritual environment for our Christ-centred community of believers through the development of the apostolate of all baptized Catholics as commissioned in the documents of Second Vatican Council. We will continue to support the ecclesial ministries of our community through evangelization, education and celebration of Christ’s love for all his people. On-going spiritual renewal through the Liturgy, the Word, the Sacraments, personal witness, and education will continue to develop the awareness that all are called to support the mission of the Church, both spiritually and temporally. Our community is called to serve the needs of our brothers and sisters. We will develop and commit the resources necessary to serve all people in our parish, to build up the Church, and to continue our ministries to bring Christ to the world. Thus, we are called to live and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ Our Lord in accordance with our Catholic Faith. | |||||||
